FreeTheSopranoPlayer is an artist collective created in Heraklion, Crete, in February 2017. The group's activities include improvised musical performances, as well as collaborative ventures between musicians and visual artists, dancers, actors, and other artists. Their goal is the immediate and collective artistic creation that expresses an instantaneous implulse and showcases the notion of "here and now" in the most dynamic way. Since there are no specified directions, the participants interact, converse via the language of their art and create a new piece in real-time before an audience. 15 May 2022 Markos Pinakoulakis - Live sound Maria Kritsotaki - Voice Michalis Avlonitis - Bass Dimitris Neonakis - Guitar FreeTheSopranoPlayer Η ομάδα ελεύθερου αυτοσχεδιασμού FreeTheSopranoPlayer δημιουργήθηκε στο Ηράκλειο της Κρήτης το Φεβρουάριο του 2017. Στις δραστηριότητες της ομάδας περιλαμβάνονται συναυλίες ελεύθερου μουσικού αυτοσχεδιασμού αλλά και συμπράξεις μουσικών με εικαστικούς, χορευτές, ηθοποιούς και καλλιτέχνες άλλων μορφών τέχνης. Στόχος είναι η άμεση και συλλογική καλλιτεχνική δημιουργία που εκφράζει τη στιγμιαία παρόρμηση και αναδεικνύει με τον δυναμικότερο τρόπο την έννοια του «εδώ και τώρα». Καθώς δεν υπάρχουν προδιαγεγραμμένες κατευθύνσεις, οι συμμετέχοντες καλλιτέχνες αλληλεπιδρούν, συνομιλούν με τη γλώσσα της τέχνης τους και δημιουργούν ένα έργο σε πραγματικό χρόνο ενώπιον του κοινού.
