Hard to clip into your Peloton pedals Using the red cleats with the rectangular rubber piece

Clipping into your pedals can be a challenge. Sometimes it is not you but the cleat, shoe, or pedal. If you have smaller feet this is more common on the Peloton bike or any bike with Look Delta pedals. It is not a defective cleat. It is most likely your shoes. But there may be something to do to the cleat to help.

All my friends told me it was tricky at first but to j id="hidden5"ust keep trying, but nothing was working. I could feel the cleat going in the pedal but it would immediately pop back out, never could get it to lock in. As soon as i removed the rubber piece, i clipped in first try, no problem! Ive been fiddling for hours and noted that the cleats clipped fine when not attached to her shoes but not when attached. Very frustrating until i found your video.     i just got my peloton today and it took me hours and nerves to try to click in! Everything i read in the in id="hidden15"ternet was more about the clicking out part, since the clicking in part should be so easy. I felt beyond stupid and started being frustrated. Long story short: its the small things that make a giant difference. I removed the black rubber and voila, click clack thanks a lot

    @jeffwilkins10892 years ago What brand are those wedges in the video that help space the clip to the curve of the shoe? I took the rubber piece out of my wifes clips and the curve of the shoe is still bending the clip too much to fit into the pedal.
