A very passionate saxophonist, Terje Lie flows along the line of urban & contemporary jazz styles. Those who know him, refer to him as “Terry Lee” and he began his music career in the beautiful country of Norway at 17, as a member of a rock & blues band. His performances led to his recognition as one of Norway’s young rising jazz artists and freelance musicians. To enhance his career, he came to the U.S., working as a freelance musician and performing at various clubs, festivals and concerts in L.A. In 2007, he recorded and debuted his first album (Traveler). Collaboration with Grammy-winners Jeff Lorber and Jimmy Haslip on the successful album “Bright Moments” put Terje in the mainstream in 2014. With 2 additional follow-up albums and several singles, including this new smooth & jazzy single (Flow, released on Sep10, 2021), Terje Lie is building towards an impressive discography.
