This video is on a lesser known but fairly often seen helmet the Slovenian t91. This helmet is most often seen in use by the Iraqi military during the rebuilding of their armed forces during the Iraq war. The t91 was initially designed as a helmet for the Slovenian military to replace the m59’s and m89 helmets in use by them after they broke away from Yugoslavia by referendum. This helmet would be used in two version the early large rim and no chin cup version and the later narrow rim chin cup version. This is a very simple gen 2 composite helmet with a lot of good features and a simple easy to make shape. This helmet would remain in use with the Slovenian military until the mid 2000’s and with the Iraq military until the early 2010’s where it would in both instances be replaced by a pasgt design. Hopefully you liked this video and subscribed if you like this sort of stuff.
