Why I hate Competitive MC

Minecraft was not a game made to be played competitively. Unfortunately, that's what made it so popular, once people caught on to the uniqueness of it's PvP system. Let's face it, in a world plagued by FPS games being the best form of PvP fighting, the system in Minecraft is extremely different. Any good player knows that the most important factor in PvP is KNOCKBACK. That's why you can kill someone even when you're at one heart by comboing them. That's why rod spammers exist. That's a very unique thing. It's an innovative way to fight, and that's why it's so popular. The problem here is that the way knockback works is at best confusing. For example, in this video he knocked me sideways by going straight forward. Not only this, but also... gear. This is something I like better about CoD than Minecraft. In CoD, sure everything is one hit, so it doesn't give any chance for in depth fighting... but EVERYTHING is one hit. In MC, with the introduction of armor, the fight can basically be determined before the fight begins. Just have better gear. (This is the reason that UHC sucks as a competitive system as well.) Basically, I'm really fucking salty so I ranted about how competitive gameplay fucking sucks and it encourages being a dick. /rant
