Early Ice Brook Trout 2019 Part 1. Underwater JawJacker Video

Fishing was great and I had so much video footage I had to split it into 2 videos. This lake froze over the earliest I can remember in the last 10 years. This video was filmed on Nov 9th but my oldest 2 kids fished the lake the Saturday before on November 2nd with 4-5 inchs of ice and caught 164 cuttbows between the 2 of them. They were mostly 14 and 15 inch fish with some in the 5 and 6 lb range. They were fishing a different part of the lake. On this trip we got into the brook trout on the end of the spawn and caught a bunch of nice colored up males and a big 21 inch female.
