@r0sco_13 years ago Don't see what Bike Manufacturers are afraid of. They sell both Rim and Disc bikes. If someone rides in conditions more suitable for Disc brakes then the manufacturer has a product for that person. The Tour de france suits rim brakes. Let the riders use the bike most suitable for them. Insane the way Trek have climbing (Emonda), Endurance (Domane) and Aero (Madone) bikes but won't allow their riders to use brakes most suited to race. ... 4

I just uploaded a exploding disc wheel failure to my channel, i didn't even say rim brakes are better, just explained the design differences and my thoughts on what could of caused the failure! So many people lost their mind that this was a hate on discs! Lol. But the wheels was a disc brake wheel and 8 spokes failed! So make your own decision about riding disc brakes. ... 13
