@jr42a15 years ago Bought a 72" with the 32hp vanguard and just hit my 10 hr. Break in. No issues whatsoever.
really nice mower for $8200. I cut 10 acres id="hidden2" extremely low (1. 5 setting)grass in midwest grows extremely fast especially with rain and high humidity so its mandatory i cut at least once a week. The vanguard is my first big block air cooled motor and i didn' t know if i would like it. I can already see that if it performs solid it is a big advantage over my old kawasaki 29 liquid cooled as there is no radiator for grassdirt to latch onto and plug up in essence creating overheating issues. I realize my mower should always be cleaned to the best of my ability, but with the liquid cooled i had to clean my radiator about 2 times on every cut (thats how hard i use one on my 10 acres and cutting low generates a lot of dust)
so far i highly recommend this mower. And the square tube in back is mega handy for keeping a square tube tri ball mount so i can pull trailers out of the way fast and cut underneath those as well instead of trimming around them and still having grass left in places underneath them.
i sure hope this mower can take the punishment cause i know my place is a challenge for sure!
