Writertown Garlosia, Stream no. 11: The Lighthouse of Min'hanna, 16.07.2023

The Lighthouse of Min’hanna This is the beacon that can be seen from the northwest and west of Mount Garlosia. Designed much like the other two lighthouses, the Lighthouse of Min’hanna is the last building one will pass on their way to the summit of the mountain’s. It also has a prominent lean to it, making it the obvious first candidate of the three to be rebuilt. But as such, the lighthouse is affectionately referred to as the Leaning Lighthouse of Min’hanna. Travellers to the town are always sure to make a note of it and to climb its stairs. Like the other lighthouses, it has a writing room spread over two levels in opened fashion. But, every writer admits that writing in this lighthouse represents a uniquely stirring experience: there’s nothing quite like the feeling of knowing that at any instant you could hear a crack and a rumble and perish for the sake of your craft.
