@vra_Tori3 years agoLoving your content! I think it is so important to educate people about ingredients and skin care without trying to impose your PoV. Just as you say, every skin is different and there is still a ton of research being done for certain ingredients. While there are a few things I don't agree with, I do love your philosophy and advocacy of all-inclusive skin care. I will be 38 next week and diabetic, so skin care has been a very important part of my life since I was little. I've worn sunscreen since I was a baby, every single day even in winter so seeing someone stress to Gen Z the importance of it is so amazing. Keep doing your best to educate and remain humble. That's why so many trust you. Wow, , long comment. LOL , but I'd love to see your thoughts on Acure Skin Care. I am trying to invest in more fragrance products that won't break the bank (dry, sensitive skin here. Plus new student loans, ugh). Stay safe! ...8

@fgostoryteller21683 years agoOne thing that wasn’t mention about vitamin c is that absorbic acid is most stable when pair with vitamin E and Ferulic acid. The industry standard vitamin c belong to skinceutical ce ferulic acid due to their patent and the fact that this brand develop the unique antioxidant formula to ensure vitamin c stability and penetrate. Absorbic acid also suffer from poor penetration, although having a ph between 2.5-3.0 is shown to aid it penetration. Vitamin c isn’t a must have for pigmentation in my opinion. A recent study between absorbing acid and tranexamic acid pair with Microneedling was done. Tranexamic acid was show to be more effective in treating pigmentation. Skinceutical ce ferulic acid is expensive pricing at 168 so it definitely not for everyone. ...29

@aedynschneider58783 years agoHi Hyram! Could you make a video with skincare tips/product recommendations for people who have ADHD and/or other neurodivergences? For me personally, I want to exfoliate and use face masks but because of my ADHD, I can't remember to use skincare unless it's part of my everyday routine, so those "a few times a week" things don't really work. I'd love to know if there are any products that are gentle enough to use everyday. Another ADHD thing (I also have some friends with OCD who deal with this) is skin picking. I know I'm not supposed to do it, but it's a behavioural thing and while I'm working on fixing that, is there anything I can do with my skincare to make the effects less harmful? Thanks !! ...3
